The EU could “respond swiftly and decisively” against what it calls “unjustified” visa bans imposed by the US on five Europeans working on fighting online hate and disinformation, an EU official stated.

EU Officials Condemn US Move as ‘Coercion’

European leaders such as the French president accused Washington of “coercion and intimidation”, following the visa restrictions were placed on individuals who have been at the heart of efforts to enact legislation regulating US-based technology firms.
